Safety
Safety is 1st priority Print E-mail

Roof Safety Systems stands for safety. All systems meet the lifting regulations (25 kg) and are certified by Aboma + Keboma. Roofs Safety Systems recently received certification to the EN 13374 Class C safety standards. This is Europe’s highest standard for fall protection systems. Watch the videos of the safety tests below.

videofoto.jpgSafety tests
During the test, a roll of one metre in width with a diameter of 35 cm and weighing 75 kg is rolled against the edge protection system from a sloping roof of 60º with a fall height of 5 metres. Because of the slope angle and the fall height from the roof, the weight impacts the system at high speed and with very great force. The test is carried out several times against different components of the system. The edge protection system must withstand this loading. It simulates a person falling from a height of 5 metres.
