Roof Safety Systems meets and exceeds OSHA standards on portable Guardrail Systems. The testing was done by QAI Laboratories in California, and the safety product met and far exceeded the load requirements of OSHA Sections 1926.502(b)(3) and 1926.502(b)(4).
The responsible manager for the US market Erik Kromann is very glad for the test result and looking forward introducing it on the US market.
The system is very simple. The stanchion is mounted on a parapet or steel gutter (if applicable) and is braced against the facade. The system weighs 7lbs per running foot. A fall causes force against the fence. This force is absorbed by the stanchion, which is braced against the facade. That way, the load on the parapet or gutter is minimal.
Instead of using a lot of money for scaffold, you can use this system, and with the simple light weight design a single person can install this system in minutes. Having access to this system, we hope to see a big decline in the fall accidents from working on roof tops.
RSS-International is now looking for dealers all over USA.
