The manager of RSS International is Erik Kromann, who has a background in sale and renting of fallsystems.
RSS or Roof Safety System is a complete edge protection system, applicable to flat as well as sloping roofs. It was developed by Roof Safety Systems in Venlo, the Netherlands, and the system was introduced on the market in 2003.
In January 2007, the renowned certification institute Aboma+Keboma, approved the RSS edge protection system for sloping roofs. RSS passed the test after the European standard EN 13374 Class C.
Class C is the highest safety standard in Europe. With this certificate, the RSS edge protection system for sloping roofs can be used even on roofs with an extreme slope angle of up to 60 degrees.
Since first of July 2007 RSS GmbH Duisburg sells our products by the FDF Group Germany.

 Fall protection is mandatory at a height above 2 mtrs. for roofs that need frequent maintenance work eg ventilation units, airco. RSS has developed a permanent system to allow work to be carried out safety. the system is certified at the highest European Norm.
 On Thursday 25 January, 2007, the renowned certification institute, Aboma+Keboma, approved the RSS edge protection system for sloping roofs. Extensive safety tests were carried out according to European standard EN 13374 Class C. The RSS system passed these tests! The official certificate will be presented within about a month.

 RSS introduces a new and simple edge protection system for flat roofs.
This can be used as both permanent and semi-permanent edge protection.
The advantage versus existing edge protection systems is that it consists of only three components: Fence, stanchion and ballast block. So the system is easy to assemble and disassemble.
This system is also certified to European standard EN 13374 Class A.

 Since a European standard for fall protection on sloping roofs was published (NEN-EN 13374, see Roofs 10-2004), things are developing thick and fast. Unidek will introduce the new ARBO concept at the Bouwbeurs trade fair, and other manufacturers are also busy satisfying the standard. Roof Safety Systems (RSS) is the first system that meets the new standards.
